How to Hire a Junior Researcher

Thanks for giving a Junior Researcher a big break! To proceed, simply fill out our request form and we will match you up with a Junior Researcher based on your needs. We will send you their profile information for approval within two to three business days, and if you’d like, you are also welcome to interview them by Zoom before making your decision. All Junior Researchers will work remotely. New clients will be asked to sign a staffing agreement before being matched with potential candidates (no financial commitment will exist until a candidate is selected).

By providing them with training and coaching, we mitigate a lot of the risk
and also screen out iffy candidates. Still, the client should always check work quality, especially during the first day or two of a new engagement. Prompt and constructive feedback is always welcome. And if you feel there are bigger red flags, which should be very rare, simply escalate to us and we will either coach the researcher for you or provide a replacement candidate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if they will do good work for me?
All Junior Researcher Program participants receive basic training from Research Rockstar instructors before they start work with us. Further, during the first 2 business days of their gig with you, they will have an initial coaching call with one of our senior researchers. Pending the length of the gig, we will also schedule a second coaching call. This way, the Junior can get a little extra support during what may be their first research gig.

How much does it cost?
$50-$80/hr, depending on the Junior Researcher’s education and current skill-level. The researcher will complete a weekly timesheet which is then sent to you for approval via e-signature. For standard projects, we invoice bi-weekly. For retainer agreements (3 months or longer), we invoice monthly.

Is my confidential information protected?
Yes, your information is safe with us. We have non-disclosure agreements with our researchers. However, if you require an additional non-disclosure agreement due to your company’s legal requirements, we are happy to facilitate that as well.

May I hire my researcher full-time?
Absolutely! We love when you have found someone perfect. The staffing agreement addresses temp-to-perm cases in more depth, including the fee arrangement of $50-$80.
