We’re exploring something new and would love your feedback! Our team has been experimenting with YouTube shorts—those quick, 1-minute videos—to see if they’re useful for Research Rockstar students and the broader research community. While we’ve got plenty of experience with video content (over 180 videos on YouTube, with some reaching over 10,000 views!), shorts are uncharted territory for us.
To be honest, we were a bit skeptical at first. Could a 1-minute video really deliver valuable content? Could it help researchers optimize methodology, design quality questionnaires, manage complex data collection, facilitate effective qualitative studies, or conduct meaningful analysis?
We’ve taken our best shot and released 16 shorts so far, and below are links to five of them. We’d appreciate your thoughts—are these 1-minute snippets useful? Are they delivering helpful insights, or does the time constraint make it tough to bring real value?
