A participant in a focus group who is often the most vocal, and whose behavior impacts the ability of the participants to engage fully. He/she often chooses to sit directly opposite the Moderator. It is the responsibility of the Moderator to prevent the Dominant Respondent from monopolizing the conversation and/or biasing other respondents.
