Probabilistic, or inferred, data is a group identified through modeling or pattern recognition as having a high probability of being accurately classified as part of an audience.
It is sometimes used in the context of explaining matching, which when done without personal identifiers typically uses probabilistic analysis as the basis of matching; “… several field values are compared between two records and each field is assigned a weight that indicates how closely the two field values match,” as described by Oracle.
