We’ve had some recurring questions about the new Training Portal and the updated membership pricing, so here’s a quick summary.
- The new portal is live and includes details on all 28 courses, Insights Association Certificate options, and membership options.
- As current students already know, the previous portal will be retired on March 31st, 2020. Most students have already stopped using the old portal and are now completing assignments in the new one.
- Courses in the new portal have an updated look and new features including discussion groups, which is something our students have asked me about adding for a long time.
- You can still choose to complete your courses in either real-time or on-demand eLearning formats. See the 2020 Calendar for all real-time dates (taught in Adobe Connect).
- With the new portal, access to our 28-course eLearning catalog is now based on membership options. Membership fee options are summarized below.
Membership Pricing Summary
- Past students will find that the monthly membership fee is comparable to previous “stand-alone” course prices. Instead of purchasing a 4-week course (for example), you would now sign up for a 2-month membership (4 weeks for the class and usually a little cushion before and after for assignments, and time to take the final assessment).
- Memberships can be purchased online or by invoice. Some people prefer credit card, others prefer an invoice (especially for teams).
- We offer three membership levels, as follows:
- The Full Access (FA) membership fee is $250/month or $2,760 per year if you prefer to pay once.
- For students who don’t want access to real-time sessions, we offer the On-Demand (OD) membership. The fee is $150/month or $1,620 per year.
- The VIP membership is $400/month or $4,380 a year.
- All annual memberships include a bonus student. If you purchase an annual membership, you can transfer it once per year. Student A starts her annual membership, and after 8 months is “done.” She can transfer her seat to someone else with the same email domain. Student B now gets 4 months to take as many courses as he’d like.
- If you have a team, we offer group discounts.
- Non-profits: we offer a 20% discount on any Research Rockstar membership option (just send us your 501(c)(3) Letter of Determination).
