Are your clients asking for dashboards? Will you be ready when they do? We can help.
It’s last call for our upcoming class, Data Visualization and Dashboard Design for Market Research! Starting November 1st, students will enjoy 3 weeks of advancing their research skills with instructor Kenneth Faro, PhD. Kenneth is an amazing instructor and a true expert on amping up market research data analysis and synthesis through the use of new tools.
Ready to move from standard slideware to visually impactful research deliverables? In this hands-on course, your instructor will guide you through data visualization and dashboard design and creation.
This isn’t just theory; students will create charts and an online dashboard. For this course, the instructor will be using Plotly. While there are several programs available for data visualiation and dashboard design (such as Tableau), the skills developed in this class will be transferable to other platforms. We chose Plotly as the course’s data visualization platform for its features, ease of use and relevance to market research applications. NOTE: Students will be required to register for a free Plotly account, which will be used for class assignments.
By the end of this fast-paced, 3-week course, students will have practiced:
- Communicating with technical and non-technical audiences through the use of visual aids
- Creating interactive dashboards to share results with clients
- Creating visual presentations to share with clients
- Specific visualizations, including Scatterplot, Area chart, Heatmap, 3D surface plots and more!
- Selecting visualizations of common marketing statistics
Data drives insights, but only when it is presented in a clear and compelling manner. Our Data Visualization and Dashboard Design course will help you to do just that.
